Another Strategy for Writing to stdout

Not convinced that making I/O a collective operation

is a great idea. It does handle the situation where one

or few processes have access to stdout but I have

yet to encounter a single system where this holds.

Given the small probability of the event and the

relatively high probability of making a pairing mistake

I propose the following lightweight solution:
