in Computer Science
In response to the growing demand for professionals with computer science skills, the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chicago is offering a graduate level education, leading to the 
Master of Science
degree in Computer Science, for those with little or no prior experience in computing.
Mission To offer the education that will enable you to master the art and science of computing.  A comprehensive education in fundamentals will enable you to succeed in all current computing environments and prepare yourself for the future to come.
Faculty Your teachers are internationally renowned scientists and accomplished professionals in the fields of computing theory, scientific computing, systems, networking, databases, system architectures, and programming.
Courses You will go through a well balanced curriculum in the foundations of computer science and applied topics in computing and inter-networking technologies.

Full-time
You are in control of your own schedule.  You may take as little as one course per quarter or as much as three.  The program is designed to be flexible and accommodate individuals with full-time jobs and/or family obligations.
