Course Description

This course is the second part of a three-part sequence for computer science concentrators. The topic of the course is an introduction to computer programming in the C++ programming language.

Grading Policy

The grades for the class will be based on your class participation and your results on the weekly written homework, two midterms, and final.

Lateness Policy

No late homeworks will be accepted with the standard exception for medical and personal emergencies.

Collaboration Policy

We encourage you to discuss the course material with you fellow students. However, submitted assignments should be your own work. If you discuss in details specific problems or assignments with other people, please, acknowledge them on the front of the work that you turn in.

Exams

There will be two midterms and a final. The first midterm will be held during the fourth week of classes and the second midterm will be held during the eighth week. The date of the final exam will be announced later in the quarter.
