Milestone 3

Due: by Monday, May 18, 11:59pm

At this milestone, each student should be able to demonstrate a 3-tier EJB application: a HTML or Java Applet client that communicates with a servlet that in turn communicates with a EJB server that fetches its data from a database.   Please try and keep this as simple as possible, it could get out of hand if you aren't careful.  I want the mechanism working, not for you to impress us with with how much data you can hand back and forth.

Deliverables:
Demonstration of the above after lecture next week and delivery of the Java Source code for the application to your TA. Follow last lab instructions for packing your files.
 
  More HARD requirements:

• Do NOT hard-code port numbers or server names in your source code (Java, HTML, XML, ...). Names like localhost:1234 should not appear in your html, java or xml files.
• Your deliverable should include a copy of your -jdbc.xml configuration file in a directory called mylogin/jdbc/
