Brendan Quinlivan

Brendan works in the area of wearable robotics, where he currently works on software that controls exosuits that users can wear like a backpack to prevent back pain and injury of warehouse workers. Brendan completed a PhD in Robotics from Harvard, where he focused on developing wearable robotics to assist walking for military personnel and indivduals recovering from stroke.

Northwestern's MS in Robotics Program

Katie is about to finish up her MS in Robotics at Northwestern University. Katie got her BA in Physics with a minor in CS at UChicago and is an alum of this course! During the summer of 2023, Katie compelted an internship at Boston Dynamics where she worked on creating new behaviors for their Strech robot and she's now wrapping up a capstone project on robot crowd navigation.

Katy works in the field of medical robotics and is driven by an interest in how technology can make an impact in medicine. After her undergrad in biomedical engineering (with a focus in robotics) at Johns Hopkins and masters in medical robotics at Imperial College London, she's built her career around applying robotic technology to healthcare, including prosthetic limb control and robotic surgery.
