Exams are during class. You must attend the section for which you are registered - different sections have different exams.
You may create for yourself and use a single 8.5"x11" hand-written page of notes. You may also use the single C reference page handed out (and available online) on the first day of class. Your handwritten notes will be collected with your exam.
